The Project
The Surveying & MARiTime internet of thingS EducAtion (SMARTSEA) project aims to develop an advanced interactive certified MSc course related to Maritime & Surveyor IoT applications that will train individuals with the necessary skills & knowledge to work in the rising "Smart Maritime & Surveying" industry.
Consortium
For this project, six academic institutions, two SMEs, one research center and three shipping/environmental surveying and shipping companies, residing in Austria, Bulgaria, Estonia, France, Greece, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Romania and Slovenia joined to create an MSc on Smart Maritime & Surveying Systems.
Participants
The course will be open for participation for anyone with a basic Maritime, electronic, electrical, computer or mechanical technical background, such as university students that have completed a suitable bachelor's degree or professionals with equivalent or higher (5 years minimum) working experience.
