    Now that the Sea is increasingly becoming a national development objective, it is only natural that all activities related to the maritime-port hypercluster, in which the ports are one of the main elements, assume a dominant role. The national port system is one of the strategic vectors for the national development of the country.

    The degree in Port Management is as a unique national training offer directed to this area, and is most certainly an added-value in academic and professional terms, taking into account its differentiating factor in relation to competitors.

    The Degree in "Port Management" is the unique national course aiming at providing students with the skills essential for port interface business management as part of a wider logistics system. The intention is thus to raise ports efficiency, a decisive factor to raise national competitiveness.
