• Degree in Statistics and IS Management (1994) at ISEGI which is now NOVA IMS – Information Management School

• Great experience in the area of IS/IT related to ports in the Administration of the Port of Lisbon (30 years) in the most different areas of IT: implementation of networks, management of container terminal parks; EDIFACT; Dangerous cargo, HR management, invoicing, SAP ERP, etc.
• Speaker at EDI and IS seminars in community projects and at various IFE and UNL seminars (examples: Business Continuity Plans and Outsourcing Management), EDI/EDIFACT, etc.
• Lecturer at ENIDH in Quality Management, Project Management, Port IS Management and Introduction to ISTIs from 2008 to 2020 (12 years)
• Lecturer at ISLA (now European University) of the UC of Project Management (PMBoK and MS and OpenProject) from 2006 to 2010 (4 years)
• Participation in several EU R&D projects (related to maritime-port technology)
• Engineer Responsible for the Production and Quality Engineering area (1990-91 Automotive industry in Aveiro)
