The Infante D. Henrique Nautical College took part in the conference "Women in the Maritime Professions", an initiative dedicated to the need and importance of strengthening the role of women in the maritime sector, organised by COMM - Merchant Navy Officers' Club.

Vítor Franco, president of ENIDH, Carla Vieira, Crew Manager at S&C - Shipmanagement & Crewing Ltd, Cláudia Soutinho, Administrator at the Douro Ports Administration, Inês Soares, Bar Pilot at the Ports of Douro and Leixões and Lúcia Silva, member of the Board of Directors of the Merchant Navy Officers' Club spoke at the conference.
