The AT-Virtual project aimed to improve the operability and performance of maritime training centers, thereby enabling information technology companies to develop emerging technology-based solutions to address the Centers' needs.
The objective was to accelerate the digitalization of centers across the Atlantic Area by introducing emerging technologies related to Industry 4.0 (such as the Internet of Things, Big Data / Data Analytics, and vision technologies).
The researchers from the Infante D. Henrique Maritime College (ENIDH) were Professors Emídio Torrão, João Frade, Pedro Silveira, and Sérgio Tomé.
