RESEARCH
The TL 1 – Navigation and Maritime Safety mission includes research and development in key areas of the maritime-port sector and the merchant marine. Research activities include among others the following areas: navigation techniques and technology; fishing, trade, and tourism operations towards sustainability; maritime safety; maritime security; and maritime transport.
