The entry into force in 2012 of the amendments to the STCW Convention reinforces new requirements for the management level with regard to aspects of Maritime Safety, Navigation and Ship Manoeuvring.
The management level includes 1st Class Pilot Officers, Chief mates and Captains. ENIDH's Master's in Deck and Bridge Operations is essential for the training and certification of these officers.
Successful completion of the first year of the Master in Deck and Bridge Operations satisfies the minimum mandatory requirements for obtaining certificates of competency for Pilot Officers 1st Class, Chief mates and Captains of ships of 500 GT or more, as provided for in the STCW Code (Regulation A-II/2).
