'Ports, Logistics and Intermodality', published by Riscos Editora, is the latest book by Vítor Caldeirinha, Director of Business and Logistics at the Setúbal and Sesimbra Port Administration (APSS), Visiting Assistant Professor at the Infante D. Henrique Nautical College (ENIDH), port researcher and consultant and Executive Director of Intermodal Portugal.
This book by Professor Vítor Caldeirinha is the result of years of research, national and international experience and dedication to the port and logistics industry. It addresses crucial issues such as sustainability, innovation and the future challenges of maritime ports. The presentation session was chaired by Professor Manuela Batista, Chair of the Transport and Logistics Department at ENIDH, and was attended by the President of ENIDH, Professor Vítor Franco, members of the teaching staff and students from the various courses taught at this institution. Also noteworthy was the presence of external organisations linked to the maritime-port sector.
