The Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique received a warm and memorable welcome during its technical visit to the Port of Sines on 3 May.
Under the auspices of the Port of Sines Management Board, the 73 students and 3 teachers from the Port Management, Pilotage and Transport and Logistics Management courses enjoyed a day full of exciting learning.
The comprehensive programme included lectures on specific topics - Transhipment, JUL, Decarbonisation, Digital Transition, Safety and Security, among others - familiarisation with control and monitoring systems, visits to the various terminals, observation of operational and logistical processes, as well as an exciting 'baptism at sea'.
The activities carried out are the result of the synergistic relationship that ENIDH has with APS, in particular with the Board of Directors, Maritime-Port Operations Services and the Innovation and Information Systems Service, and with partners REN - LNG Terminal, Galp - Liquid Bulk Terminal, MSC Portugal, PSA, SITANK, BOLUDA and REBOPORT, and are aimed at promoting the Education, Training and Qualification of Merchant Navy Officers and Senior Management, Transport and Logistics Staff.
