The 6th edition of the Caixa Mais Mundo Awards took place on 29 April at Culturgest's Rui Vilar Auditorium in Lisbon, awarding 12 students from the Infante D. Henrique Nautical School with an individual cash prize.
Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD), in order to be able to have a greater number of merit prizes and scholarships awarded, increased the total amount of the Prize in this latest edition. This increase was also important for the unit value of the social grants, making it possible to support more socio-economically disadvantaged students than in previous editions.
The awarded students were admitted through the National Access Competition in the 2023/2024 academic year at Higher Education Institutions that have a protocol with Caixa.
The prizes and scholarships awarded were divided into four categories: Academic Merit Award; Scholarships for needy students; Merit Award for students on Vocational Courses and Merit Awards for PALOP students.
