This course is designed to update the knowledge of Masters, Officers, and other personnel designated on the Muster List who are responsible for assisting passengers during emergency situations on board passenger ships, as required by paragraph 3 of Regulation V/2 of the STCW Convention.
The course fully complies with the requirements of the STCW Convention, Regulation V/2, paragraph 4, and Section A-V/2, paragraph 1 of the STCW Code, as well as the guidelines of IMO Model Course 1.28 – "Crowd Management, Passenger Safety and Safety Training for Personnel Providing Direct Service".
During the training, participants will refresh their competence in crowd management, passenger assistance, emergency communication, and the implementation of safety procedures on board, ensuring an effective and coordinated response during emergency situations.
