The STCW Basic Safety Training Course is mandatory for all personnel working on board ships, providing them with the essential knowledge and skills to maintain safety at sea.
The course fully complies with the requirements of Sections A-VI/1-1, A-VI/1-2, A-VI/1-3, and A-VI/1-4 of the STCW Code, as well as the guidelines of IMO Model Courses 1.19 – "Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques", 1.20 – "Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting", 1.13 – "Elementary First Aid", and 1.21 – "Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities".
During the training, participants will acquire fundamental knowledge and skills in personal survival techniques in the event of ship abandonment, fire prevention and firefighting, elementary first aid, personal safety and social responsibilities, and pollution prevention.
