Objective
The course fully complies with the requirements of Tables A-II/1 and A-II/2 of the STCW Convention, as well as the guidelines of IMO Model Course 1.27 – "Operational Use of Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS)".
Participants who successfully complete the course will be able to demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and understanding of navigation using ECDIS and electronic charts, and will be competent to perform the duties of an officer in charge of a navigational watch, as defined in the STCW Code, as amended.
