The following may apply for admission to the Master's Degree in Navigation:
a) Holders of a bachelor's degree in Aviation or a legally equivalent qualification, who hold at least a 2nd Class Pilot licence or equivalent, as defined in Article 5(2) of Ministerial Order No 235/2020;
b) Holders of a foreign higher education qualification in the scientific field covered by the study programme, awarded following a first-cycle study programme organised in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a state participating in that process, and who hold at least the professional category of Second Class Pilot or equivalent, as defined in Article 5(2) of Ordinance No. 235/2020;
c) Holders of a foreign higher academic qualification in the scientific field covered by the study programme, which is recognised by the ENIDH Technical and Scientific Council as meeting the objectives of a bachelor's degree, and who hold at least the professional rank of Second Class Pilot or equivalent, as defined in Article 5(2) of Ordinance No. 235/2020.
d) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional background recognised by the ENIDH Technical and Scientific Council as demonstrating the ability to undertake this course of study, and who hold at least the professional rank of Second Class Pilot or equivalent, as defined in Article 5(2) of Ministerial Order No. 235/2020.
The recognition referred to in subparagraphs b) to d) has the sole effect of granting access to the study programme leading to a master's degree and does not confer on the holder equivalence to a bachelor's degree or recognition of such a degree.

- Curriculum vitae, dated and signed, accompanied by copies of certificates for courses/training programmes completed, if applicable;
- Seaman’s Book showing periods of service at sea, if applicable;
- Copy of identity card or citizen’s card.
Each application costs €110 (one hundred and ten euros), which is non-refundable. Payment of this fee is intended solely for the analysis, assessment and ranking of the application and does not guarantee a place on the desired course.

- Passenger and dry cargo;
- Tankers (liquid cargo);
- Fishing.
