The professional higher technical course in Sustainable Energy and Air Conditioning (CTeSP-SEC) aims to prepare a highly qualified technician in the installation, maintenance and operation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, without neglecting the energy sustainability of these systems. It will also aim to utilise energy from renewable sources in accordance with the applicable standards, safety regulations and rules of good practice.
The CTeSP-SEC will prepare graduates who are able to comply with the procedures and guidelines set out in Decree-Law 101-D/2020 of 7 December, particularly with regard to assessing energy performance and identifying energy efficiency measures in HVAC-R (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning - Refrigeration) systems.
Graduates of the TeSP-SEC course are also prepared to continue their studies in higher education, namely in ENIDH's Engineering degree courses, where they can obtain credits in the scientific areas of the respective courses.
