The Physical Education II microcredential improves preparation for the curricular units leading to maritime certification (STCW and STCW-F Conventions), whose practical component requires students to be in good physical condition. On the other hand, the aim is to equip students with practical skills adapted to the life situation of a seafarer on board, as well as to raise awareness of the importance of training and improving the functional condition of the human body, both physically and mentally.
Attendance regimeThe course will run during term time. It is planned to take place in 12 2-hour sessions.
Group 1 - Monday from 16h00 to 18h00
Group 2 - Tuesday from 08h00 to 10h00
Group 3 - Wednesday from 4pm to 6pm
Group 4 - Thursday from 8am to 10am
Group 5 - Friday from 16h00 to 18h00

1.1 General. Assessment of breaststroke, backstroke and breaststroke techniques.
1.2 Arm and leg propulsion glide. Perfecting technique
1.3 Breathing in the different styles. Perfecting technique
1.4 Coordination of arms, legs and breathing in the different styles
1.5 Speed and endurance
1.6 Rapid movements in the three styles (breaststroke, backstroke and breaststroke). Work in series (50m-100m-200m)
1.7 Long-distance movements. Training volume (400m-800m)
2. Physical Fitness and Modalities (8 hours)
2.1 Strength, speed, endurance, balance, mobility and joint stability
2.2 Individual and group technique and tactics
2.3 Badminton II
2.4 Basketball II
2.5 Futsal II

Each candidate must complete the application form and attach a scanned photocopy of their identification document (ID or Passport).
ENIDH reserves the right to request the submission of additional documentation for the Jury's assessment of the application.
Admission criteria
Those aged 18 or over and regularly enrolled on an ENIDH course may apply to attend the micro-credential.
Selection and Ranking CriteriaIf the admission criteria are met, selection and ranking will take place as follows:
1) Students attending the final year of maritime courses.
2) Students attending the penultimate year of maritime courses.
3) Students attending their first year of maritime courses.
4) Students on non-maritime courses.
5) Others.
