Objective:
The aim of this course is to refresh the knowledge of masters, chief engineers, mates, second engineers and other personnel directly responsible for passengers embarkation or disembarkation, for loading or unloading and for cargo lashing and securing, as well as for closure of openings in the hull and for keeping ship stability, the advanced specialization required in par. 7 of the rule V/2 and in accordance with par. 4 of section A-V/2 of STCW Convention as amended, to assume tasks of responsibility in ro-pax vessels.
